In Conclusion:
A scientific researcher conducts experiments based on the current wants and needs of the society. They use a specific scientific method to answer questions and the results can only tell us exactly what the experiment was designed to based on the hypothesis, variables, and tools used. Research that is not beneficial to society or the environment should not be conducted because it is not valuable enough knowledge to justify the cost of the research. Furthermore, the research that is conducted is deemed credible purely on the basis of it's success and the common agreement amongst the society and scientific researchers. Scientific research is used as a way of deciding which ideas and answers are false and to help to us get closer to the ultimate truth, keeping in mind that we as humans will never know if truth has been reached.
From my position, there are many questions that could arise such as:
1. If truth can never be reached, why do we keep searching for it?
2. Should we still conduct research that is not beneficial incase something beneficial arises from it?
3. Are there other ways to conduct research besides the scientific method?
4. As technology and science advance, will the aims of science change?
5. Are the instrumen
